It felt like an earthquake!

Standing inside the domed crown of a massive, 200 year-old windmill - the old wooden structure shuddered, as huge circular cogs slowly turned, pushed by the enormous, cloth-covered wind vanes spinning outside in a stiff breeze. It was quite the sight!

There's more to the Netherlands than just windmills, dikes and tulips!

See the beautiful Keukenhof flower gardens, the sandy desolate beauty of Texel Island on the North Sea, and a look at the paintings by renowned Dutch masters, such as Vincent van Gogh - in Amsterdam’s famous Van Gogh Museum.

Of course, no tour would be complete, without a peek inside a few working windmills!
