After two field trips to the Montreal International Fireworks competition, the last event for this workshop is coming up!

Thursday, July 23 - Our third rendezvous is a rain protected Hotel Rooftop in Vieux Montréal!
This site provides an elevated view of the fiery rockets bursting above the La Grande Roue Ferris Wheel, the Jacques Cartier Bridge and the city harbour for a distinctive finish! Here we can indulge in food and drinks as we prepare for the big show!

Canada will present its pyrotechnics show!

Rendezvous Time - 7:00 PM

This Location will be revealed to paid particpants!

Note: The fireworks sessions proceed rain or shine!

All fireworks shows commence at 10 PM, lasting from 20 to 30 minutes. Rendezvous time is 7 PM at the hotel location!

Skill level: For all - from Beginner to Advanced

Suggested Equipment & Gear:

- DSLR, mirrorless, compact cameras & iPhones of any make or model
- wide-angle and a telephoto zoom lenses are recommended - from 24-200mm
- camera tripod ->BEST for long exposures (tripod available upon request)
- shutter release cable or wireless remote control
- large clear Ziploc freezer bag to cover your camera in case of rain
- flashlight
- umbrella and rain gear (If rain is forecast)
- insect repellent
- water bottle or beverage of choice

Join me for this last exciting night! A Meet & Greet with dinner, includes image exposure pre-shoot tips and techniques, one-on-one instruction with image evaluations after the shoot, Lightroom and Photoshop processing techniques, plus workshop handouts to conclude our adventure in Old Montréal!

Car pooling from Montreal's West Island and other city locations is available for three participants in my spacious Dodge Grand Caravan.

A spouse or partner who is not a photographer is welcome to watch and wander.

Terms and Conditions:

Full refunds for cancellations up to 5 days before the event, or in the event of sickness by the workshop leader. Five days to 25 hours before the start time, 10% of the total cost is retained.
Cancellations 24 hours and less before event start time - NO refunds.
