Australia - Land of Contrasts

A photographic journey of Australia’s many vistas and wildlife !

"Here's another piece!" I called out in alarm to the pilot.

Flying slowly in a Cesna 217 single prop aircraft, high above the red-tinged Olga Mountains, air rushing in through the open cargo door, was slowly ripping off the planes interior trim and carpet, as I photographed the scene beneath me. It seemed to be coming apart... in mid-air!

Find out what happens next, as Voyageur Fred takes you through the steamy rainforests of Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef in the north, to the Australian Alps and the Great Ocean Highway to the south; from sacred Uluru in the heart of the Outback's desolate interior, to the sparkling metropolises of Sydney and Melbourne. It's a 15,000km voyage of discovery, through the mystical continent of Australia!

Nature lovers will enjoy imagery of bouncing kangaroos, cute wallabies, fuzzy koala bears, red-sided skinks, and rainbow serpents!

Join Frederic for the adventure, as he recounts the stories and people he meets, in a month-long odyssey in the Land down Under. It's a stunning and colourful 90 minute digital slide show, featuring Australian folk music, and atmospheric Aboriginal melodies, played on the famous didjeridu.
